Warning: Ultrafuse ASA can adhere extremely well to the build plate. Take caution removing the prints as it may take chunks from the build plate. Glue stick recommended.
Forward AM | Ultrafuse® ASA Filament
Ultrafuse ASA is a high-performance thermoplastic with similar mechanical properties as ABS. ASA offers additional benefits such as high outdoor weather resistance. The UV resistance, toughness, and rigidity make it an ideal material to 3D-print outdoor fixtures and appliances without losing its properties or color. When also taking into account the high heat resistance and high chemical resistance, this filament is a good choice for many types of applications
- 750 gr. spools with 2.85mm and 1.75mm diameter
- ABS preset (Ultimaker) or download Forward AM ASA from the Marketplace
- 240C - 260 C
- 30-60mm/s
- Bed temp: 100 - 120 C
- Closed chamber, passively/actively heated recommended
- Bed adhesion: Clean glass, Dimafix, PC adhesive
- Low fan speeds: 0 - 30% (super important)
- Enclosure/filter/ventilation recommended
